Ouch. That was indeed a nailing. Those Brens up on the hill over your central defensive position made life pretty difficult. Between that and some bad luck on timing the self-propelled gun upgrade (right when buumi started showing vehicles), it isn’t surprising how quickly the game went.

Haven’t got any that great, yet. Added yours to the s:44 www site. Hope you and FLOZi don’t mind.
The quality of the videos was perfectly acceptable, more so on the later one though.

This map is really difficult to play for me, big open areas and resource constraint. It’s like kiev with low resources or something.
Very frequently a soviet infantryman gets stuck in the barracks, annoying. Yesterday on the big game soviet katie got stuck just after building in the front of the yard, that was very annoying because it’s so expensive to build.

2bd78ea had invisible germans so we reverted to playing 215163f.

A more interesting game, maybe worthy of video? Has a few memorable moments in it.
At least here it can be seen that every single one of the 3 russian barracks has a DP infantry stuck in it.

Reversing tide a few times. The noob was supposed to watch but we found out only afterwards that he didn’t. This would make a good film in dot-wars style, for new players.

Very boring game for me but I think there might have been a bug with a commando unit. It didn’t build satchel charges in zCram’s base. Also at about 14.48, once paused production of landing zone finished, but build just started again.

  2. at 00:35 there’s a flying “Towed 57mm ZiS-2 Anti-Tank Gun”, that flies into a ditch with no excuse whatsoever and is from then on unusable for the duration of the game. Very annoying.
  3. Seems that the commando’s lz was hit by a medium artillery shell. I’d still say something might be wrong though.

I think that happens only the second time I built landing zone. First time landing zone finishes at about 14.50 and no artillery shell hits it, but the building of landing zone starts again.

Inf stuck on tanks and vech. Brit scout kills 251/1 with a grenade (should it have those?) Hoko said something about scouts’ projectiles being seen on minimap.

hm, scouts don’t have grenades – only a pistol and the “observation” weapon (which is shown on minimap, unfortunately)

Comments: A very long game (1:20, on Cooper Hill!) that had some interesting swings. I was using Haig’s WW1 tactics with horrid casualties and dubious results while zCram the master of mortars was defending against the human waves in the north and assaulting with armour in the south.
Bugwise, around minute 36 one of my light vehicle yards refused to build right after it finished producing a construction vehicle. it might be related to me giving orders to that vehicle while it was produced?

It was weird.

The “infantry getting caught by vehicles & tanks” annoyance, can anything be done about that?
