Some troubles with spring 1944& spring lobby

Hi!
I’ve some troubles with spring lobby:When I’m trying to run it ,it says “can’t launch application error 0x800000003” or something like that.
2nd problem:Whent I run the game with “spring.exe”,it loads but it stops at pathcost:written.

P-S:I’ve got 7 64-bits,installed Net framework 4.0 & vcredist x64(C++)

Look for a file called infolog.txt (should be in the same folder spring.exe is in), and attach that file to your post. It may contain the info needed to find out what happens.

there isn’t any infolog file in the directory.
It’s blocking now on creating sky.

If infolog isn’t getting created at all, that means the game fails somewhere early in loading process. Possibly graphics related. What is your graphics card?

Hey!

It works at 75%!
I downloaded spring 8.2.7 and it is a lot better.
When I use spring.exe,It works fine but when I use TAS(spring lobby don’t want to work),choosing solo option client,3 seconds befor finalising,it shows my win7 waiting cursor appears & at finalizing,it show a error box,wich telling me to see my infolog,here it is:

latest spring engine revision is 88.0, 8.2.7 does not exist. Use latest.

Released version doesn’t work with 88, yes. However, you can join #s44 lobby channel and get the updated version there which does work (dl link is in channel topic).
We’re waiting for engine devs to fix some problems (still existing in 88) before making a new release, but test version from the lobby is playable as is.

Install Spring 88.0, launch springlobby (or some other lobby), login to the main server. Type “/j #s44” in the chat (without quotes). Done, you’re in the s44 lobby channel. You’ll see channel topic message which contains a link to latest test build.

Does it just exits to desktop after ‘Creating sky’, without any message boxes about application crash? Your infolog does not contain any crash messages, it seems all goes quite good until it suddenly stops.

Also, was this a single player game or an attempt to join a multiplayer battle?

Normally ‘Creating sky’ is the last loading stage, right before the game actually starts.

It is writing pathcosts:written(I didn’t see creating sky on screen) & it blocks.
I must CTRL+ALT+DEL to unbug(spring has 99% of my cpu).
It appears in solo,I prefer to test with solo coz if it is in multi,it will bi not very king for my opponent :slight_smile:
